Never Ending Books
Oct. 5th, 2004 05:50 pmToday was trying to set up my printer. First I had to rig up someway to plug my three pronged printer into the two prong outlet next to it. Next fun was trying to find a driver. I am annoyed that I broke down and called Tom for help. I mostly did it on my own. Then ran out to buy paper, both common paper and resume paper, and a new cartridge. I was not sure if the cartridges still work, but I doubt it after two plus years. Could not find one. Office Depot is not the source of everything, as I thought. Drat. But Food For Less is next door, so I stocked up on kitty supplies.
The real treat was Bag Night at the annual Lawrence Public Library Book Sale. They have split it into two nights, but I shall be gone for $3 a bag night. I limited myself to $14, one bag of sci-fi and one bag of science. Not sure why I need a copy of Weather at the Mid Latitudes, but when I need the reference I shall have it. The best title has got to be "Age of Cataclysm".
