How is it that a highway patrol officer issued a speeding ticket to a daughter on her way to meet parents who had been lost for 12 days??!! Where is the compassion?

Umm - why the fu** was she speeding? Was there some sort of imminent threat to her or her parents (now that they have been found and are no longer in harm's way)?

Or doesn't she and her parents know how to use a phone?
