Yes, I should be sleeping

A last attempt tomorrow morning. Plan is to get up early, and some more hacking at Lindley. The lab machines handle bigger datasets than my little lappy.
801st Airbats
Another 6 episode OVA I bought back when I had money. I bought it for no good reason. There are no giant robots, no alternate worlds. There aren't even any students - middle school, high school or college. Just JASDF. Yep, they acknowledge it in the opening credits.
It is a harem comedy, which isn't my favorite for obvious reasons. Our main character is a private in the JASDF, recently assigned to the 801st. Which also includes 4 female pilots and a clueless commander. Two of the pilots are in love with him, and half the plot is the trouble the 801st gets into because of it. The other two pilots are a complete ditzhead and a good gambler. Oh, and there is the obligatory cute animal - a bat in this case.
Artwork is so-so. Plots are the expected tropes. Of the six episodes, 1 is a failed date leading to illness, one is a ghost at an inn, and another is an eating contest.
Artwork is so-so. Dubbing was OK, with the ditz's fake southern accent being the most annoying. I don't know enough about flying to judge how realistic it is, but I can say it isn't realistic about military life. Even with the little I saw of JMSDF life.
