Not Doing Much

affrecaBarely worked this week, because of slight infection limiting my desire to be with people. Argh. And feeling really guilty, as it is almost the end of another semester and not enough done with life.
On other news, I'm distracting myself with other small projects. One is to slim down the cats, as I really don't want to have diabetes kitties. This is difficult in a household of four who are picky about food and expect a constant bowl. First step is to feed them only once a day, as we go to bed (because the worst time to deal with whiny kitties is when you're trying to sleep). They're used a full cup of food twice a day, so their daily feeding is going down to 1 1/2 cup (scoop cup, not measuring cup). Eventually, they should get the hint, and we can start feeding them in separate bowls, so I can try Grok on sensitive stomach food (to limit her upchucking) and make sure tiny kitty still gets enough (though she seems content to fight for her rights when it comes to getting enough food or her favorite spots - which now includes under the dresser where the heater vent is, which is by far the warmest spot in the house).
In other news, I'm contemplating the homemade pledge. I've started on one project that should be lots of small gifts.
