On the Isle of Man

To fulfill my long fascination, I have landed on the Isle of Man. Staying at a place in Douglas, the main port. Already scored one brochure of the Tynwald from 1991. Random history. It has an interesting place in Great Britain. Sort of quasi-independent. Sort of where Scotland wants to be I think. Oh, and the actor who played Gimli is from here, so they are the one other place besides NZ to print LoTR stamps.

What a wonderful experience you have been having!! I have been following your messages and printing them for Grandma & Grandpa Peterson to read too. Kris & Jen have been following your emails also. I think we're all jealous of your travels & adventures. We are all anxious to hear stories & see pictures when you have time to share. Have a safe trip home and see you before too long!!
