affrecaSo DoomMistress posted one of the few AMVs (anime music videos for those not in the know) that I'd seen at Anime Detour that I'd really liked. Footage is from one of her favorite animes (Princess Tutu), but I love the music. Haven't trouble finding the singer's other stuff affordable, but now one my watch list. I have a weakness for Swedish music.
Which made me think about other AMVs I've liked. See, it is a nerd niche that I've mostly ignored. Sure, I saw the Eva Engel AMV in 2000, but not much else. Anime Detour reminded me why (angst.. silly angst). I like humor. Silly songs (and the Shinji/Aska voices in Engel are funny).
As is Chibi Things That Kill. Especially since I actually recognize most of the scenes.
