Car Pooling and Social Awkwardness
Sep. 2nd, 2006 03:30 pmI'm trying to find ways to amuse myself socially, since
lawnchair left me for the weekend. When he is around, I'm content to be a homebody, but when he is gone, the realization of how sad that is strikes me. And since it is a holiday weekend, I might be successful. But both possiblities are out of town, and I hate to drive that far. So I'm hunting for a ride.
And it feels wierd. Like I should be able to do it on my own, and I'm imposing on people. But, I really hate to drive an hour by myself. So far, I haven't gotten to far finding a ride to OP for an anime party. For tomorrow, I managed to get a ride with an exroomate's exboyfriend/exroomate's current roomate/exroomate's husband's excoworker.
