Villians in Vilnius
Jul. 4th, 2004 07:20 amSo in Lithuania now. Long bus trip, did not sleep much. We got in early, and the hostel didn't seem open yet, so we went back to the train station (short walk, oh, and I'm traveling with an Irishgeek named Mark, built like Q). Wasted an hour, then went back. Got beds, so I figure I might nap. Decent place, free coffee/tea and kitten. Supposedly the neighbor's, just here for a bit, but a cutey. Very nice train station, other than the squatters. And in the east really, can't flush TP. Announcements in Lith, English and Ruski, which is nice. Things in Warsaw were often labeled in four languages, none of which were English. Though with four tries I could usually guess.
