Can a female character have truely inexplicable sick tummy? I do. One that does not end up with our clueless heroine knocked up?

Well, I've known quite a few people who been having some kind of stomach bug, but nothing severe - just general nausea. I was having tummy troubles last weekend. Hope it's just a passing phase...

Sorry to imply I currently have a sore tummy (or pregnacy fears). I meant to say compared to fictional characters, I occationally have an upset stomach without being pregnant. And I'm sick of knowing that's what it means.

Ah yes - it all becomes clear. Well, I'm glad to hear you were talking about a book and not yourself in the third person. Heh.

Thanks, though I'm healthy. The character in the book I'm reading is throwing up, and is clueless. Thus, due to lack of originality, we all know she is pregnant.
