Food Nummy
Mar. 29th, 2006 07:37 pmOk, so I have to work on another paper. Don't worry, I won't complain long, it's due Friday. After the torture of the boringness of the last GIS class (all class reviewing the answers to the test), I don't feel bad skipping. Which means I have most of the day to write (except teaching lab, and recovering from that).
The last two nights I forgot to eat. I was fine the first time, but this morning I woke up headachey at 2. Still headachey in the morning, and so hungary I didn't want to eat. I managed to remember lunch, but I spent about an hour this evening trying to tempt myself with food, without going out to eat (which I did all last week, and need to save more money). So I made one of my current favorite cheats. Take a can of cresent rolls, put ham slices, cheese (feta, since Aldi's had some cheap), and garlic on the end of the triangle, and roll the filling up. Bake like the can says. Nummyness. It goes great with soup, but fine alone. Tastes oddly mediterrean to me (in the Slovenia/Croatia sense), especially with feta (also good with chedder). Tasty without the ham for the veggie boy. Also tasty with goat cheese and pine nuts.
