I've noticed myself thinking about feminism more than usual these last few months. I suspect it has something to do with being in a long term relationship. I don't think about feminism in relation to barriers to what I want to do, since that has never been an issue. I've never been told I couldn't do math (or science) since it has been obvious to all that know me that I sure as hell can. Or that I can't serve in the military. I've been more limited by age (no longer, but in the day I kept on getting kicked out of bars that I didn't want to drink in), or size (I just passed on a chance to go to the Grand Canyon to collect samples because I can't carry 65 lb of stuff). And I've been lucky with boyfriends; they've always been sensible about my feelings towards sexual and reproductive decisions.

First I came across a photo essay on how we view women in photos (mostly, we as women). Which was still kicking around when I came across a collection of photos of young women doing their military service in Isreal.

So many half completed feminist thoughts...
