Stormy Weather
Thankfully, we went camping Friday night. It was a bit cold, and I should have brought my thermarest (I'm getting old), but it felt so good to get out. We cooked pasta and ate goat cheese with french bread (I've become a sucker for goat cheese, and crave it frequently, as soon as we get land, we're getting goats. And kidnapping biscuit to do the milking). Then as we were biking home, saw lots of cars with bikes going into the park. Hmm.. SUV with bike on top... I prefer being able to ride from my back door.
Then, last night I went out and gamed, for the first time in years. Jorge's DM's daughters are old enough so he can start up again, and they needed more players. Very cute twin blonde 1-year olds (they liked me, unlike most children that age).
Had a bit of excitement this morning. Thunderstorm roared through town about about 8. We went down to the basement when the sirens went off, but it wasn't to bad here, just a bit of hail (truck is fine, as is the new mirror). But KU is closed, and they are suggesting people stay home due to downed powerlines.
