More retail therapy
Feb. 3rd, 2006 08:55 pmAfter a week of research, I decided on bike panniers. Oddly enough, they were the ones Tom suggested. Damn him. I even spent one GIS class writing down catagories of stuff to pack, to see how many pockets I need. And I really like my backpack, so I went with the same company, Arkel Overdesigns. Well thought out designs. So black T-42s for myself, red for Tom. I've got to go somewhere now. Found some more routes in GA, so might do the Silver Comet one way, and follow country roads back.
Though it was physics that put me in a good mood this morning. Despite what I say everytime, I didn't start on my homework until the morning it was due. But I woke up plenty early, and it went well. I disproved Newton's third law of motion (equal and opposite forces, try it with moving electrical charges, moving away from a common origin, and the force caused by their magnetic fields). For Monday I have to devise a Hamiltonian for relativistic interactions. Thankfully, my GIS and volcanology classes are not that difficult. I was a bit worried for today's lab (since I don't have that much Arc experience), but the directions are easy enough, and I could always figure it out. Not bad, considering I haven't taken the prereq. Still have plenty to finish up, but I went faster than my neighbor.
Weather finally got chillier. Plus I have plenty I need to do this weekend. Oh, and check out my new icon. It's a picture of a booby chick.
