So I didn't do much. Took care of my sickie boyfriend. Not that he really needed it, but considering I like being pampered when I'm feeling under the weather... The only bad part is my sympathy. For nausea. I can't even clean up cat barf without dryheaving. Honestly. So everytime he hurled, I had to run from the house. I feel vaguely guilty about that.

So thinking about writing. I hate writing anything serious, but this journal is good for me. I get out the general spewing of thoughts I have, saving those around me (Tom) from endless silly conversations.

So, amusing story. I'm sitting in my office yesterday, chatting with Rob (officemate), when student shows up. He's not necessarily the best student, and I'm not always sure he's seeing the same world I am (I'm dense, but I suspect certain drugs, not necessarily a bad thing, but doesn't seem to help his learning). He hasn't been to lab this week (it is then half an hour past when he last lab ended). He asks, "Can I make up the last two labs. I overslept." Ummm.. No.

Oh, and I wasn't in the mood to interact today, so I used illness as an excuse not to go to the AWG wine and cheese party. So now I have a bottle of nice apple wine to enjoy. And mulled cider and corn soup, because I was feeling like cooking.
