Beautiful Bled

affrecaSo I ended up staying three nights in Bled (actually, I am in a small village outside of Bled). The first day I went rafting down the Sava River, then yesterday walked around Lake Bled and went to Bled castle. Everything is much cheaper than Switzerland, but the views are just as good. And they have purple wildflowers (I only saw yellow and white ones any where else).
Onto Ljubljana today. Staying at Celica, a converted prison. And everyone talks up Ljubljana as the new Prague, without all the tourists yet. Should be neat.
As for weather, it has cleared up wonderfully. Had a brief 5 minute thunderstorm yesterday, just enough to cool it down.
