Cooking Like Crazy
Nov. 6th, 2005 05:11 pmOn my way to the grocery store, I stopped at a garage sale. Tom is a bad influence; I bought a bike. An old school Swchinn Suburban with fenders. It will need a bit of love to be ridable, and it is nothing special, but it was $10.
Since Tom's out of town, I ended up buying meat when I went shopping. And then was pretty lazy yesterday. And I don't want to study any more hydrology (hey, I did study proir to the morning before, I'm doing more than usual), so I'm cooking it up for lunches and freezing. I've got enchildas in the oven, and a pot of soup on the stove. I think I will have to admit that bean soup requires a ham base to taste right. Of coarse, I seem to have bought cheap ham hocks, with no ham on them, but the soup tastes good. Yeah!
