Good mood

Sorry, I realize that the news story updates didn't give a good impression of my mood. Which is generally good right now. I made up for my crappy presentation, enough that I don't think I'll fail the class. And the next guy was almost as bad. And I got my scores for my two tests, and proved that whatever my other skills in life are, I have mad math skills. Not sure what to do with them. Also have good location skills, as proved by my skillful navigation to the Ren Faire and back. Once I opened up my mouth, we stopped getting lost. Though I bought a GPS unit later that night. Hmm.. more to the free association.. I went to Serenity Friday night. Balled my eyes out. I have some reservations about the pacing required for the movie format, and a disagreement about whether or not the opening implied that all these planets and moons are in the same system. But nothing terribly coherent, especially compared to the other reviews I've read. If you like sci-fi at all, do yourself a favor and see it, even if you didn't see Firefly. Sadly, a lot of the cool western feel was lost in the movie. Maybe they'll be able to follow through with another TV series.

My students take their first lab test tomorrow. Hmmm.. Have they learned anything? Time to go read and distract myself.
