Yeah! We have Bats!
Or at least one bat made his way to our living room. The guess is that he came in through the attic ventilation. Tom spotted him asleep in the corner. Tom fetched Jorge down, and I grabbed the camera. We all agreed that we should try to remove him as humanely as possible (at least it isn't hibernating season), and hunted the house for something to put over him, then slide a bit of paneling under him. It went off well, though he did squeek to complain (I'm always amazed when animals do sound like I think they should). Then out to the porch. I shut the door to cut off the light and his way in. Oh, and the front door locks after you close it and Tom locks the back door out of habit. At least he had keys to the back, and Jorge had socks. What excitement in 10 minutes.
Oh, and March of the Penguins is a cute movie. Yes, it is your classic PBS documentary on the big screen, but it was nice. Especially in the big theature of Liberty Hall.
Tomorrow I start being a TA at new TA orientation. I'm planning to try to bike up, my first time from the new place. I'm mostly moved in, though still don't have a place to put half of my clothes, as I don't have drawers for two of my dressers. But the library has all its shelves, so I should put books away. Even trying to learn LOCC for my nonfiction.
