The Power of Pants

affrecaGot back from Vegas late Sunday night. Which meant I was tired all Monday. But when my coworker, Jude, came by to ask if I could move a couch for him, I said yes. The power of the truck. So off to goodwill. So after I dropped him off, I picked up Tom, and since we decided to go to Target (all four kitties needed food and litter) we also stopped at Goodwill. Where I found pants. In fact, pants that I already own, in the same color. Ok, in slight different size (fits better in the waist, but longer). Wonderful, zip off cargo pants. And for half the price of the first pair I own. Which is amazing, because I bought the first pair at the CC Boutique (otherwise known as the Vermillion bargain store, Civic Council). $0.99 for amazing pants. I am happy so happy. They are great for traveling, because they are both shorts and pants. And the grey does not show dirt at all. A sign that I need to be on my way. Along with my rail pass, that came in the mail today.
Showed off my apartment today. Thankfully frustration of yesterday had lead me on a cleaning spree. When I got back from shopping, the complete mess that is my apartment overwhelmed me. After a shower and a bath and a couple of screaming fits, I ended up straightening up the kitchen and sweeping it. Heat + tired + clutter = freakout. Tom did dishes and took out the trash. While waiting for Ben, the coworker interested in renting my cheap ass studio, I picked up more stuff. Yeah. A couple more nights of this, and I won't be ashamed. Ok, I need to move. And have a seperate room for my books.
