Hunkered Down
The weather is still crappy here. It is currently snowing again, which is just enought to cover the ice from last night. I lost power for about four hours last night. It seemed to be pretty localized (lights on across the street), but I was not willing to go over to Tom's. So went to bed early. And slept a lot. In addition to the excessive sleep I had the night before.
Thankfully, the weather didn't slow down the UPS man. I got my kayak today (Stearns inflatable, same model as my Mom's, but because it was good and cheap). I now need to search for a paddle and PFD. And wait until the weather gets nicer. Though I have a wetsuit.
