Cats
The current house clowder includes (from left to right) Nicosia (1.5 F), Sophie (6 F) and Maui (4.5 M). Despite none of being related, they are more affectionate with each other than any other cats I've lived with. They play and wrestle daily in various combinations, in addition to grooming each other. Also, after two years of working from home and minimal travel, they are very human focused. The fastest way to get them to do anything is jealousy.
Maui is what the internet calls a chonky boi. We adopted him four years ago after Bear and Buddy passed within a week of each other, and he quickly filled the role of big sweetheart. About once a morning he demands cuddles.
We got Sophie from a coworker who was going overseas. I wanted a cat that was a bit younger to play with Maui, since the two old ladies we had a the time could not keep up with his kitten energy. She was about two, and on at least her third house hold. She warmed up to Lawnchair quickly, but it took a couple of years for her and I to figure out how to interact. Which means that we play blanket mice for a couple of minutes each night when I go to bed. Two nights ago she slept behind my legs for the first time, and last night she slept in between the two humans. She's also still very playful.
Nico is the latest addition. A month after my old girls died, I saw her picture on the location humane society page. I've always lived with tortiseshells and calicos (Sophie's the first female cat I've had that isn't), and I loved her. Went to the shelter, but she was still at her foster home. Next day, came back and picked her up without meeting her first. Literal cat in a poke. Wasn't a bad choice. She's very indulged, including by the other two cats, and is still called kitten. She'll run across the room purring if she thinks she'll get attention, and will usually get it.
