Off in the World

affrecaKromski spinning wheel is shipped. Here's hoping I packed it well enough. Hopefully I'll know Thursday when it is due to arrive. I'd offered a replacement drive band, only to be denied by YB not having one in stock. And kitten stole half the BFL fiber I was to ship along with the wheel. I got it back, though it picked up a bit of dirt on the way up the stairs. It's a good thing she's cute. But that's a chunk of change back in my pocket.
As part of my drive to increase my endurance and time outside, I joined a local outdoors group (business) for the year. Today was the first hike. Only about 3 miles, but I did see the bald eagles and their nest, which was the supposed goal of it all. I also so pelicans before the hike and deer on the way home. I'm going to skip the three day trip to Nebraska because I'm not up for that sort of thing until Covid is under control.
