One of the Worst Feelings Ever

affrecaGood news first. I finally got a full sized futon pad. Ben had offered me his a while ago, but I had not followed through on it due to issues. I finally did call Ryan (who currently has it), but he is still out of town. But, one came up on Larryville.com, the local site. I called and arranged to pick it up today.
So yesterday I drove the truck back to my place. I wanted to put in the alley, since I was going to have my neighbor Pete look at it. Unfortunately, there weren't any spaces free. One was occupied by a white Aztec that I believe belongs to the house next door. So I parked behind that house. I figured I would be moving it soon.
I felt bad that I couldn't see it from my window. I often check on my truck from the window, as it is my first car. But when I went down to drive it over to pick up the futon, it wasn't there. There is some Mazda instead.
I try to find someone in that house. Eventually someone leaves, and he tells me that his landlord sometimes tows cars. Ok, it had been there for less than 24 hours. Nobody commented to me.
Long story, short. I got truck, though had to pay $200. It didn't make it all the way home, but we got it to a paid spot, and it has 5 hours left. I tried to call the landlord who had it towed, but he was being a pedantic asshole. I think I called because I wanted an apology, but I wasn't getting one. He kept on trying to tell me none of his tenants drove a white Aztec. Yet it was moved by the time I got home. I think I shall go sheet shopping. I just feel very kicked.
