All Quiet Now

 Whelp, tonight was the first time I've gone down to shelter in my own basement for a tornado.  We're fine, on the opposite end of town from the tornado.  Hell, birds are chirping now.  It was a big one.  I figure by tomorrow there will be more information about how much damage it did.  It was on the ground for about an hour.

I'm glad you're OK! The reports I heard were that it touched down south of Lawrence and didn't hit anything actually within the city limits.

I was at work down in Grandview when it went through, so the opposite corner of the KC Metro from where it hit.

Glad to hear you also had a safe night. I'm at least in the part of the US that's used to tornadoes.

Yeah. Half a mile further north and we'd be dealing with a lot worse.
