Election Night in My House
Nov. 6th, 2012 08:57 pmI'm tired. My day started at 4:30, my work day at 6 a.m. (wanted to be out in the field at sunrise at 7, and knew it would take an hour to calibrate the multi-parameter meter). I just barely got home in time to vote, though it wasn't a problem as I'd voted early a week and a half ago. Wonderful husband went out and fetched tacos while I splurged on internet. After a failed attempt to fall asleep (wonderous bed is so much more awesome than the Independence Microtel), I have drunk a glass of raspberry wine (despite the headaches that has lead to in after the last several wine drinkings). Lawnchair is periodically updating me on cheerful senate results (Mass. and Indiana). Hopefully the presidential results will be called by the time I have to go to work tomorrow (yeah - done with work at 2:30 on Thursday so I get to venture north to visit family before the snow flies).
