Just got the latest Hillcreek Studio newsletter, and it includes two classes I really want to take. I plan to take NATURAL DYEING: Missouri Dye Plants in September and ANCIENT DYES: The Lesser Known Dyes for my birthday. Woot! Certainly planning on carpooling if anyone is interested.

My interest is peaked. Where is this Hillcrest Studio that you speak of? Google's returning too many results in too many places to narrow it down.

Hillcreek Fiber Studio is a funky little yarn/fiber/dyeing store just south of Columbia, MO. I visited there last summer when the owner's daughter (who owns a different yarn store in Columbia) ran a blue dying workshop (indigo and woad). Both workshops are two days long, but I may be able to get my ex-roommate to put us up.
