I hate when I get frustrated. I don't deal well with such things, and I hate that about myself. Which is a nasty cycle. In related news, going to the Bernina store helped with the desire to buy a new serger, even if it didn't help getting the one I have to work. But when the sales lady is more interested in selling me a new one than helping me figure out if my current one is broken or I am incompetent, I am less likely to spend a thousand plus. Especially if I was already going down the frustrated road. I think abruptly leaving was politer than flipping out at her.
In related news, Lawnchair is going to end up an expert on singer sergers at some point. And I assert that raking up a pile of leaves and jumping in it is a valid method of dealing with overwhelming frustration.

Date: 2011-11-21 01:48 am (UTC)I don't think I need a new serger, Lawnchair made mine work again. I was looking at Babylock's because everyone says that they're easier to deal with, but they're not cheap. What I really need is a class, as everytime I have a problem I'm not sure if it is me or the machine.
