Things I Did Not Expect

affrecaBuddy's best friend in the house is Bear. They're currently playing some cat game that involves running towards and away from each other. And meowing at each other. I'm ruling it a game due to their postures. Lju is off to the side, looking kind of sad that her brother has a new playmate, and its that annoying interloper.
Buddy is our new cat, inherited* from Lawnchair's mother. We brought him to Lawrence with her to keep her company, with a home arranged in case he didn't fit in. He did a wonderful job of keeping N company her last weeks, and integrated with the rest. And now Lawnchair and I are crazy cat people, with an average of 2.5 cats per person.
*We gave the another of N's cats to my parents last weekend. They seem to like her, though their other cats don't yet. Turns out Sunshine's growl is melodic. Damn funny sounding.
