Still Alive

affrecaI survived my week of 10 hour days. Training was fun, commuting wasn't. I managed not to wreck the state Blazer. Now I just have to get it back to Topeka in tomorrow's freezing rain. I learned a lot (thankfully the teacher had no problem with my knitting during class as I was watching him and commenting on the material).
I finally got my shopping trip in yesterday. Lawnchair and I hit the bead store, half price books, Microcenter and the Oriental Supermarket. We had lunch at the Caspian Bistro, which was worth it (and is in the same strip mall as my bead store). Then I went over to lisichance's for curry and anime. Nom.
I thought today would be a wash because I woke up with a killer headache. But I took some pills and MD, and it went into hiding. I've already been grocery shopping and started a roast, casserole and crumble. Building up leftovers for this week's lunches.
We'll see if I get a chance to go out to Hays this week. Looking like snow Tuesday, but no certainty when/if it will hit.
