affrecaHaven't heard back about the state job (though apparently they called my reference a second time), so I applied to 2 temp telephone support jobs. I should work on starting to get income. Though the state job would be better so Lawnchair and I don't have to negotiate income distribution as we'd be making close to the same amount (I find lack of money issues helps keep a relationship simple).
Been a crafty bee - made two smocks and another apron dress (except hemming and shoulder straps). I like my new apron dress pattern - little waste and no cutting on the hem. And I had a scrap of wool just the right size. I'll be styling when I go to Kris Kinder.
Started making Christmas gifts. Last year was rugs, this year will be place mats unless people complain. Some even asked for place mats, so starting on hers first. Bought yarn, realized that yarn I already had would work better for the weft, returned half the yarn, and measured out the warp. Tomorrow I get to start dressing the loom.
Is there interest in me posting pictures of my Viking dress or last table toppers?
