Temperture is 92 and I Have No AC

The electrician is back, swapping out our circuit breaker. Glad we got it done quickly, because it turns out we've been stealing power for our central air. We knew it skipped the circuit breaker box and went straight to the meter box, but we thought it was on our side of the meter. Yeah.

I've been trying to amuse myself in low energy ways (to stay cool) that don't require power. Thankfully I have a laptop and my neighbor's wireless. Mostly been reading. I'm proud of myself, I fixed the zipper on my travel backpack. Turned out to be a lot easier than I expected (no missing teeth, slider had somehow come off one side).

Unfortunately, I'm sticking around while the electrician is here so he doesn't do something odd like leave the doors open (thus letting out cats like last time) or denying the cats access to their litter box (when he closed door to the utility room so he could leave the utility/garage door open) or lock them into the utility room (thankfully Lju doesn't want outside and howls loudly). House stays relatively cool - apparently its only 78 in the living room. Thanks for the offer.

Then I am glad it's not too terrible there. I just like to be helpful. I know that if my air conditioning died in weather like this, I would melt into a puddle of goo. I really prefer cold climates.

glad things are getting fixed and properly.

My A/C has been running a little warm. I'm wondering if the condenser may have iced up as the temps went up this week. I back the A/C off last night and some more tonight so that it could thaw out if needed. Temp was 80 when I got home. Warm but not too bad. I'll open windows when things cool off some outside. In the morning, I turn the A/C back down and see if things get/stay cool. If not, I'll be stopping by the apt office and putting in a service call.
