More Updating

Got the call from vet this morning about Grep's lump. Not cancer. Yippie! More years of my little crazy flying kitty. Oddly enough, she does not blame me for the ordeal. Actually seen her a bit more often. Hopefully she'll feel the same about moving (planning on moving her over first, giving her at least a day of exploring without the other cats).

Waiting to hear back more on house. Final negotiations seem to have ended up with the $2500 price reduction, mostly because we really want the house. Waiting to hear that it is on paper. Then we hope that mortgage can be finalized in time.

ConQuest. Nope, not invading, going to a con. Since I was feeling like saving money this year, decided to skip WisCon and go to the local one. I'm on two panels - one about women in the military (I'm assuming in Sci-fi vs in real life) and one about anime. Should be interesting. Just got the oil changed on the truck so I can use it to haul more Naka leftovers for the consuite.

How long are you planning on staying on Sunday? I may need a ride home because ryltar wants participate in an autocross event on Sunday, leaving me with con stuff and without transportation.

Also, if you need a room and are willing to spend several (5-6?) hours at the Naka table, we (ryltar, Jess C. and I) have an extra spot available in our room.

I've got a panel at 3 on Sunday, so I figure I'll leave after that. Should be able to fit you in (especially if I'm not taking any food back to Lawrence), though it might be in the back seat. Thanks for the offer of a room, but I've got one. I'll spend some time at the Naka table, working around the time I'm volunteering at consuite (I don't know who is organizing that at all).

Hrm, I forgot about the small projector though. Do you have room for that, a big plastic tub, and a big suitcase as well as a passenger? If not, I'm sure I can find someone with more space to haul me back to Lawrence. :)

I'm happy. She may piss all over my bed, throw up about once a day and swear worse than a sailor, but she's my cat. Well, she's more of Lawnchair's cat, and makes it very clear. But when she lets me pet her, she is so sweet.

And she has the softest fur I've ever seen on an adult cat. Be a shame to lose that with chemo.
