Who Needs a Theme?

lawnchair with last minute master's project stuff (he should be finished defending now). Made 250 copies of the 101 syllabus.
Working in the office is going to up my tea consumption. I seem to drink a lot more at my desk than on my couch, and brewing another cup is a nice break and chance to socialize. Trying to keep it to one cup of black a day, the rest herbal. At least it isn't Mnt Dew.
My field of study made it in the news, or at least an article in slate. Passed the link to the bossman, as it might be nice to discuss the first day of Enviromental (we'll be using variations of all the geophysical methods used, though not the moats). I like the premise of the article (do stuff to stop tunneling besides bombing), but still have minor nitpicky issues (GPR can work past 15 meters in really dry soil/sand, Electromagnetic gradiometry does not use variations in the gravitational field, and there is estimates of the limits of EM grad in the scientific literature).
Oh, and it snowed this morning. Should melt tomorrow, but light snow turned out to be an inch or so. Made campus pretty at 6 in the morning.
