Standardized Test-Fu
As you may have gathered, today was my fun with standardized tests. I am no longer good at them. I flipped my Quantitative and Verbal scores from my try in December. This wouldn't matter, except the actual percentages Quantitative is less than for the same score in Verbal. My problem was not allocating my time right while doing Math. So, I am a genius at words, but average to moron at numbers. Which so jives with my college history.. not. We shall see if my essay portion is better than last time. I think the Issue was a lot better this time around, but the Argument was about the same, if not worse. We shall see what the graders think.
In other news. There is no other news. The kittens are starting to look like miniature cats as opposed to fluffballs with eyes. I just got a reminder about their shots in the mail, so I shall be calling the vet soon, and pouring more money into their veins. Chatted with my neighbors some more, so I now plan to go canoing in mid October. Perhaps I shall invest in a wet suit? Nah, going south. I think I'm just trying to get the most out of my incredibly good sleeping bag/body pillow cover this year.
Off to drown my sorrows in Mountain Dew.
