Getting Outside

I drove out for my quarterly sampling. Sadly, the city well's pump is still broken, and I get to call them every week so I can go sample it as soon as it is functional again. Thankfully, I've convinced everyone that I don't need a field buddy for safety for that, so I feel less silly about two and half hours of driving for ten minutes of work.

Buyer messaged me that spinning wheel arrived safely. Now I can spend that money guilt free. Which I am doing a fast pace. I signed up for a beginner backpacking trip with the outdoors group in March. I have enough good gear, this should help me use it. I haven't in the past because I feel uncomfortable with backpacking by myself, and Lawnchair isn't interested in hiking more than a couple of miles (with his duck feet, he's much more comfortable biking than hiking).
