Day lost to migraine

What it says on the tin. Woke up at 4:30 with headpain, so rolled out of bed to take an aleve. Got as far as being back in bed, and realized it was already at sumatriptan levels, so rolled back out of bed to take one of those. I had hoped that the two hours until alarm time would be enough, but.. nope. Sat in front of work computer long enough to send an email to boss that I was taking time until a scheduled teleconference off to sleep it off. Got through call (and contributed enough to feel like part of the team), then took the rest of the day off.

Was out of sleepiness, but really couldn't think, so spent a couple of hours listening to a podcast about the fall of civilizations (finishing Mayans, all of Vikings of Greenland and Angkor, starting on Rapa Nui) and untangling a skein of yarn that I had insufficiently secured, it is now a pair of balls of yarn. This is for the next sweater project - outside of my color zone. Basically, I'd acquired through a destash a pound of Into the Whirled's Butterfly Effect in merino. After much uncertainty, I ended up splitting it at the fiber stage into blue/black bits and orangey bits, then spinning each into separate yarns. I've got around 800 yards of each in fingering. I've been poking Rav for years for a good sweater pattern, and I think Ink & Brass is just about right, if very similar to what I normally knit. Ember is also possible, but I think is better suited to colors that match/blend better.

I should go to bed, and hope I don't have a rebound headache in the morning.
