Sitting Vigil for Grep

Grep (my tiny cat) has been having seizures for the last month or so. Last week we realized that she's gone blind, probably related to what is causing the siezures. Last Thursday, she had so many that we planned to take her to vet, but the next morning she up and happy so we decided to wait. Over the weekend, she had about a seizure a day, and we decided cancel our plans to head north to see my family. Last night was bad, and this morning we found her unable to move. Unfortunately, it is a holiday and the nearest emergency vet is a long drive. We've made a bed for her next to the fireplace. She doesn't seem to be suffering, so we're just waiting. It seems that our old lady ghosts will have a cat soon.
