Spent most of my weekend crafting. I finished weaving the fabric for my hood this evening. It was to late to try fulling it (messy process that I'd rather do outside), but I cut it off the loom. I ended up with a few inches extra, as I wove to the end of the weft I had made. I still had some warp thread left, but not enough for anything useful, so I cut it off the loom. I measured out three yards of warp for my trim, and wound it on the warp bar of the table loom. After bathing, I was energetic enough to thread all 16 card through the warp, though I haven't tried to tension it. That can be the project for tomorrow evening.

I also dyed the one scarf that I managed to hem. It is a mottled green (as I had planned). I wish I had gotten my serger to work regularly and made a few more, because they are fun to dye and I feel silly with how little I produced for the art walk. I guess I have to admit that at this stage in my life I'd rather craft for myself. Maybe after retirement.

Now for my favorite part of the weekend, trying to wind down enough to sleep so I'm ready for five days of work.
