Exciting Ways to Start the Day

At 8 on the nose, the phone rang. It was my interviewer and prospective boss. My interview is supposed to be at 1, not 8. Where was my written answers. I'd sent them Monday. I hurriedly resent them, but got bouncebacks. So I resent them from my other email account. And then without the inline text. And then without the doc file, only inline text. Just got a call back that they finally got it (and saw the headers that it was originally sent on Monday). Not what I needed. Interview in 4.5 hours.

Survived

Interview wasn't a slam dunk, so I have no idea how I did. 3+ weeks before I do. Blah!

Back In the Dark Ages

Lost power for 3.5 hours. It was just the couple of blocks around us, from right before Lawnchair got home from work (within a minute of him walking in the door) until ten minutes ago. First we went out for dinner (reward for my survival of interview), and used the last of the sunlight to clean out the garden (except the turnips). Came in and set a fire for heat and light and entertainment. I read by my headlamp while Lawnchair played games on his iPod and stared at the fire. But now I have internet.
