Putzing Around Home

I ended up sending Lawnchair to Winfield alone. I went out on Tuesday with Solan to pick plants for a series of natural dye experiments, and managed to do something to my back. I didn't really hurt, but I would get spasms (felt like a hiccup in my back) occasionally. I figured three nights of camping wouldn't help with that even if I wasn't sleeping on the ground. Plus, my cold is lingering just enough to make me achey and whiny. Of course, the stretch Solan taught me seems to have worked well enough that my back is now fine. And I'm still trying to spin up enough white yarn for my natural dye experiments (sunflower, pokeberrry, goldenrod and sumac).

As for the Elizabeth Moon hubbub.. I'm processing through my thoughts. Between actually being a fan of her works, having seen her at D*Con, and such, my perspective of it is different than for other rounds of "author writing stupid".
