Bangers and Mash
Aug. 20th, 2010 07:26 pmAll I can say is nom! Made mashed potatoes with the product of my own garden. As they were mostly small and thin skinned, I figured they'd be tasty that way. And then when I was at the grocery store for half and half, I tasted a sample the meat department had out. I'm picky about sausage, and dislike most. Most of them get disqualified because I can't stand black pepper (I have to hunt for it in the spice cabinet when Dad comes for a visit because otherwise I never use it). But these were tasty sausages. Sadly, there was no label on the samples to tell me what I had eaten. I was brave and hunted down a meat department employee to tell me what I had eaten, and then bought a package. Fried up with garden onion, and a side of home grown mashed potatoes, and nom.
