I taught GEOL 103 for two years, which means I taught the flooding lecture six times. Which included pictures of the Kaw flood. While there were some tempting places in North Lawrence, only one was elevated enough to make me comfortable (with a mostly unfinished basement). Instead, we bought a place 10 feet from the watershed divide.
