The Next Stage is Snot
May. 20th, 2010 03:23 pmThanks, everyone. The videos were all great. I may have to find a Shaun the Sheep to live next to my loom (though I'm boggled by something I discovered in my research about Shaun. Apparently Shaun is a homophone to shorn in some accents. Wacky as leaving eggs out of the fridge).
I feel closer to human today. I have yet to fail at cups (which I did yesterday. Twice). I have discovered that curry noodle soup is great for illness - warming and tasty. Which is good because I have spinning class Saturday, and WisCon next weekend.
Garden looks well*. Going to harvest my first strawberry today. Cauliflower soon.
*Except the apples trees. Something nipped the top of them, though they might survive. We'll give them the summer to see. The nip is surprisingly high, and after consultation with my father, I suspect it was deer. Deer! Which left the rest of the garden (except the spinach) alone. The apples and the peach now are surrounded by chicken wire fences.
