Trying New Things
Apr. 14th, 2010 07:31 pmHeadachy today. Last night I went to a meeting of the Kaw Valley Fiber Guild and met some nice people. One member wanted a warping board, so I sold my extra one for $25. Cash for the library book sale. I'm going to try to go Friday morning and Monday evening.
I'm going to try to put my endless surfing to good use and start posting some of the more interesting links I find. Some of you may have already seen them.

telophase Recreating ancient greek caryatids.
Second - soap vs. tasty - Why cilantro tastes like soap to some people. Probably partially genetic, probably partially eating enough so you don't associate it with soap. Nom. I planted some cilantro seeds yesterday (along with chives and thai basil). Maybe I'll have enough cilantro before it goes to seed.
Third - Britney Spears airbrushed and not. Amazing to me how much more real the non airbrushed version seems to me. I can see how that relates to my body.
Four - viasartorias Vidding and female gaze Sartorias won a fandom auction for a post by Deepad, and this is the post. Awesome basic explanation of vidding and description of three vids (related to above, one vid is about Britney Spears). Plenty to ponder on. Makes me excited for the vidding party at WisCon.
Five - cats and iPads - Because it is LJ, you need cats.
