Geology Fail

So I'm cruising around esty, looking at drop spindles for no good reason. One of them has a "blue sandstone" whorl. Umm.. no. That's blue GOLDstone, otherwise known as glass with sparklies. Unless it has a high mica content (which is rare because mica is not a stable mineral and rarely lasts long enough to make it into sedimentary rocks), sandstone does not sparkle like that.

ETA: Seller did correctly ID the criniod fossils in this spindle. Even called them sea lilies.

Being Adult

Did some of the annoying stuff I've been putting off. Called dentist and have appointment to fix broken filling. Ignoring the rest until I see how well they do in my tiny mouth. Called for girly bits appointment. Glad I did, as the next open one is in a month and a half. Hopefully new doctor will be willing to give me my anti-pregnancy vaccine on time. Now trying to get B&N to credit me for the book they canceled in my order. Applying to Vangent can wait until tomorrow.
