Looks Can Be Surprising

If you haven't seen the cell phone salesman opera singer clip yet, do so now. I love how he is so obviously scared. Yet, when he starts to sing, he captures the audience. The judges go from dismissive to amazed. And he still doesn't realize that they loved it. This is a man who deserves to be an internet celebrity.

Road Trip Time

Taking off in a couple hours to drive to St. Louis. I've only driven through it, so I want to explore. lawnchair has a server to retrieve, and it maybe cheaper to ship it, but it won't be as much fun. We'll stay tonight in a conservation area on the way (depending on which one we get to around dark), and tomorrow night in a hotel with a pool (yes, swimsuit is packed). Plan is to hit the zoo (free) and the arch, walk across the Mississippi, and wander some neighborhoods. I'll stop at a bead store or two, though I have a budget. Figure we'll end up wandering lots of goodwills and salvation army stores, because that's how we always end up amusing ourselves. Well, real work on Monday.
