Flow in the Mantle Wedge
May. 8th, 2007 08:19 amAlmost done. I handed in my GPR paper on Friday and had my last Thermochron class yesterday. So I'm done with two out of my three classes this semester. All that is left is Plate Tectonics, with a 15 minute presentation (powerpoint done) today and a 5 page paper due by email on Friday (on the same topic as the presentation).
I'm happy. This has been an easy semester. Well, except the whole "dropping out" drama, which ended OK, because I'm luckier than I have any right to be (I keep squeaking by without needed to stress about money). But I'll be done before finals, which gives me another week to be lazy. I might even get my grading done early for their final.
Ride to ACen is figured out. I'm leaving Thursday morning in a van with four guys and one woman who I don't really know. Packed into a van. Which hopefully means maximum use of gas money, and more chance to sleep through car trip (I'm trying to drop hints that they don't want me driving).
And the rain has stopped, for now. Umm.. We aren't in drought conditions this year.
