Or something. Hi, sis! Another person on my friends list who I actually know. Most of the blogs I regularly read are not LJ, so my friends list is mostly science/nerd updates. But the navel gazing is so addicting. Oh, mine's still pierced.

Actually took calls today at work. Supervised, and took a long time to finish, but I think I helped them all, and did exactly what they needed. Yeah, me. Next goal, drop truck off for fixing and hand in benefit forms tomorrow. And, probably heading to Lincoln to explore this weekend.

I Don't Need Kids, I Have Cats

Can't I get health insurance on my cats? An HMO so I only have a small co-pay when they get ill? Lou has another ear infection. Noticed that her ear had a scratch, then noticed it is red and swollen. I disobeyed my cat car book, and put some of the ointment left over from her last infection in her ear. I'll see how it looks in the morning, but Tom might be taking both my truck and my cat in to get checked out. Dratted full time jobs. I should be switching to my regular 9:30 to 6 schedule soon, so I can run some errands before I have to start.

Oh, and found a cheap hostel in Lincoln ($10 a night per person), so headed up there this weekend. Have reservations. Tom gets to investigate concerts since I found the accommodations. Figure we'll hit the Hay Market and the Natural History Museum. Any other suggestions? The last time I was there I was flying home for Christmas and spent the night at a cheap motel (got the military discount). The only other time I was 9ish and I vaguely remember a giant goldfish. Not sure I can find the goldfish again.
