Home Stretch

Just have one more essay to finish (ok, still have to revise the KU "what do I want to research" essay, but I have until next Monday) before this is all done. I am trying to figure out what to write for Dalhousie. I actually know someone who is going to reading this one. On the other hand, if he wants me to be his student, he'd better get my recommendation letter in on time and will remember I hate writing this sort of stuff. I'm all for the opportunities I get face to face. I hate application essays, and have since I was a senior in high school. Ever notice I went to a state school that barely requires you to be breathing to accept you? Mom remembers the fights trying to get me to write scholarship essays.

So I am up at 5 in the morning and I smell breakfast. I assume it is one of my neighbors. It is making me hungary. Maybe I shall use my break to feed myself.

More Grad School Fun

Done. Dal and UA ready to be sent off today. I'll spring for the priority shipping, which should get UA there with a day or so to spare. Wow, early. I just can't stand to revise them any more. I wonder about the people who spend months revising their grad school essays (maybe even some on my friends list), but that is just not my personality. Not the best, but me.

Well, off to work. More immigration fun.
