Update

Sorry if I haven't updated in a while, I am still adjusting to working again. The truck doesn't work. Pete took a look at it, guessed it was the fuel pump. He was nice and said he could pick up one and change it out for me, but I haven't heard from him since. And from Tom's research, it isn't that easy to switch out, since it's now in the gas tank. Dratted high tech cars.

Some sad disturbing news today. A homeless woman froze to death in Lawrence, and a freaky killing of a pregnant woman for her infant (infant is apparently fine). On the other hand, Kansas just redid its death policy and this story amused me. Poor truffle, I hope it does regrow.

Men's Clothes for Women

I'm not doing much today. I tried to sleep, but only got an hour nap in before the postman came. I want to thank the Nelsons (Troy, Mary and the kids), but not sound snarky about it. So I have been reading in my nest (clean blankets, fuzzy sheets that almost match my window trim).

Quite sweet, in its way. While I refuse to spend much money on clothes, I will keep my eyes out for the line. Not because I am terribly butch, my dating history has proven to me that my sexual orientation is geek, but because I tend to wear male fashions. Oh, I like a good skirt or curvy tanktop, but I like simplistic designs. More than once I have looked at Tom's closet (and other male friends) and then looked at what I was wearing (Actually, the fashion convergence with Tom has me a bit scared at times. We both tend to wear cargo pants with a t-shirt and flannel and combat boots).
